Terms of Engagement

These Terms of Engagement were last updated on the 17th July, 2025.

These Terms of Engagement outline the basis on which Anchorpoint provides services to clients. By commissioning any work, you agree to these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.​

Scope of Service

​

Anchorpoint provides virtual business support, which may include:

​

  • Financial reporting and commentary

  • Compliance assistance (e.g., Cyber Essentials preparation)

  • SOP and policy documentation

  • Administrative or project coordination

The specific scope, timeline, and pricing will be confirmed in writing prior to the start of each engagement.

Fees & Payment

​​

  • Ad hoc work: £50/hour (min 2-hour block)

  • Retainer: £45/hour, minimum 8 hours/month, billed monthly in advance

  • Project work: Fixed fee, typically 50% upfront, 50% upon completion

All invoices are payable within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

Interest may be charged on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Communication & Availability

​

Anchorpoint works standard UK business hours. Reasonable effort will be made to respond to client enquiries promptly. Urgent or out-of-hours support may be available by arrangement.

Confidentiality

​

All client information is treated in strict confidence and will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent, unless required by law.

​

Data Protection

​

Personal data will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

Termination

​

Either party may end the engagement with 14 days’ written notice. Any work completed to date will be invoiced accordingly.

Liability

​

Services are provided with reasonable care and skill. Anchorpoint is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of deliverables or advice.

Governing Law

​

​These Terms of Engagement are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
