Refund Policy

This Refund Policy was last updated on the 17th July, 2025.

Anchorpoint provides professional services on a retainer, project, or ad hoc basis. Due to the nature of this work, refunds are generally not issued once work has commenced.

Retainers

Payments for time-based retainers are made in advance to reserve availability.

If a client wishes to cancel a retainer agreement:

  • A full refund may be given if no work has yet commenced

  • Otherwise, any unused time may be credited at Anchorpoint’s discretion, but is not guaranteed refundable

Fixed-Fee Projects & Packages

Fixed-fee projects typically include an upfront deposit (e.g., 50%).

  • This deposit in non-refundable once work has begun

  • If a project is cancelled by the client before substantial work has started, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Ad Hoc Support

Ad hoc work is billed in advance in 2-hour blocks. Refunds are not available once time is booked and work has started.

Errors or Disputes

If you believe a billing error has occurred or are unhappy with a deliverable, please contact michael@theanchorpoint.co.uk as soon as possible. I will always aim to resolve issues fairly and promptly.

Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law.
